Happy weekend everyone! so i was trying to make my own mix&match rolls because i was such a lazy ass went outside house to bought some and i ended up myself did my experiment with the ingredients i have inside the refrigerator. i tried this one when i went home to Batam because you know i love to cook. and this is the easiest way to make your own rolls at home while you can added up whatever you want inside the skin's rolls.
The benefits of making your own dish is you can make sure you are eating clean. i mean, there are a lot of jajanan yang kebersihannya tidak terjamin. but, you can guarantee it by making it at your home and also it's more cheap and produces more rather than you buy it at the outside. dan juga, kebanyakan di luar sana kita kadang gatau mereka menggunakan minyak apa untuk menggorengnya, akan tetapi beda kalau kita membuatnya sendiri. the point is, just to make sure you know what you eat and also the cleanest as it finest.
Honestly, i already made a plan to post it in the late August, but because of the pictures still in my slr and i forgot to bring it to Yogyakarta (+Thank you my lil bro for sending these all thru email). But better late than never right he he he. I'm also trying to make my blog more efficient by posting a lot of food recipes with an eye catching pictures of 'em.
And because i love seafood so much especially shrimp. (eventhough i know it highs with cholesterol, but i just can't deny) (And happily because i lived in Yogya and it's so hard to find fresh seafood so i rarely eat it) (But still can deny it when i went back home). And also the crab sticks! it's so yummm. so, as the main ingredients, i used shrimps and crab sticks. but, if you want to add some vegetables, sure you can do it and mine added some little cube cop from carrots and itself will add some sweet flavor.
Ingredients that you need, such as like:
「Inside the skin's rolls」
1. Carrot.
2. Shrimps.
3. Crab sticks.
4. Chili.
5. Garlic.
6. Salt.
「Skin's rolls」
1. Wheat flour
2. Water
3. Egg
4. Salt
Steps:
1. sauteing the garlic and chili with the heated oil at the same time until it smells good. then add salt. leave the heat at low stage because it's easy to be singed.
2. Add shrimps first because it takes a lil bit longer to ripe but leave it half cooked because the next step is, (medium heat).
3. Add the crab sticks and sauteing it together. (medium heat).
4. Add little cube cop of carrots and sauteing it together until the texture of the carrots isn't hard anymore. and you're done!
Skin's rolls steps:
1. Add wheat flour and water (depends on how much your wheat flour) and mix it together.
2. Add 1 egg and stir it.
3. Pour the ingredients into heated Teflon (just to avoid the sticky surface) little by little and don't make it thick and leave it only for 5 secs and take away from the Teflon.
4. Just repeat the number 3 step until the all ingredients used up.
How to roll:
I forgot to take a picture when i rolled these snacks. but it's so easy do it, just place the main ingredients up the skin's roll and roll it but don't forget to put the albumin as the glue in every edge of skin's roll. and for make it more crunchy, you can also add bread crumbs. (but make sure before you add the bread crumbs, the mix&match's rolls already smear with the albumin for make it sticks). and well done for all the steps how to make your own mix&match's roll at home.
You can save the snacks in the refrigerator for 2 hours and fry it all but you can directly fry it too! Thank you for reading my cooking tips and see you in another recipes.
